Our Story
Nature’s Luxuries, Born from Life’s Journey
Before I ever mixed herbs or poured oils, I was baking.
As a little girl, baking was how I discovered creativity. Measuring, mixing, and watching something transform in the oven became a mirror of how I processed the world. It challenged me, it grounded me, and it gave me space to be fully myself. Especially being the only girl out of five boys.
But life soon introduced deeper layers of purpose.
When my father was diagnosed with high blood pressure, everything changed. Our family had to shift — our meals, our mindset, and our understanding of what wellness truly meant. He became more focused on fitness and routine. Even though he didn’t always want me “lifting like the boys,” I admired his discipline and began building my own relationship with movement and health.
My curiosity grew over time. I was raised by a mother who valued beauty, self-care, and taking pride in her appearance. She was always well put-together and believed in the power of skin care. From Oil of Olay to her favorite moisturizers, she taught me early on that how you care for yourself shows up in how you move through the world. That quiet lesson stayed with me, even as my own understanding of skincare.
Later, working as a counter manager for Dior, I dove deeper into skincare. I was trained in luxury skin science and taught to understand the layers of product performance. I learned how ingredients work. How texture and treatment matter. But I also began to question what I was putting on my skin — and what shouldn’t be there.
Then came CrossFit.
As I prepared for my wedding, I turned to CrossFit to get in shape. But it quickly became more than that. It pushed me mentally, reshaped my body, and lit a fire within. Wanting to maintain my results, I slowly transitioned into a plant-based lifestyle — first eliminating beef, then chicken, then dairy, and eventually shifting to a fully vegan, conscious way of eating. I loved how I felt. The energy, the clarity, the wholeness.
And then I asked the most important question:
If I’m this intentional with what I put in my body, why wouldn’t I be just as intentional with what I put on it?
I began studying ingredients.
Making masks for my skin.
Crafting conditioners for my hair.
Tuning into nature’s remedies — and seeing my skin, my health, and my spirit respond.
During a season of depression, I was drawn deeper into healing — and not just through herbs, but through nature itself. I began to see and accept the Earth as sacred medicine. The trees, the greenery, the leaves, the sun, the dirt beneath my feet — they weren’t just beautiful, they were healing. I found peace in the presence of plants. In air that felt alive. In stillness. In sunlight.
That space gave birth to transformation. And from that, MimiMichelle Well Being bloomed.
This brand is more than soap and scrubs. It’s ritual. It’s resilience. It’s the healing power of intention — wrapped in herbs, oils, and botanicals.
Because wellness isn’t just what we eat. It’s what we breathe in. What we soak in. What we speak over ourselves. And what we allow to touch our skin.
MimiMichelle Well Being is a return to that truth — and an offering to anyone ready to reclaim their own.
